Aett: Hagal's Aett
Hagal’s Aett is the second group of eight runes and they are associated with the root of destruction.
The second Aett is associated with the Underworld or the land of the Dead. It is symbolic of our past, karmic debt, and the opposing forces of fire and ice. It is the home of Hel, Chaos, and the Norns.
Hagalaz
Chaos, destruction, abrupt change. The crone, crossroads, trial, a choice to make.
